Friendly dining

Went out for a quick dinner with my family and found the Cottage Inn to be a lovely friendly pub. The beer selection was fair, nothing to knock your socks off but well kept. The food was again a traditional menu but with some good veggie options and served with a smile. Our server went put of her way to find me some chilli sauce to go with my meal and made us feel welcome. The fish and chips portions were epic and the curry wasn't very spicy, but would probably suit most. The crumble was absolutely delicious.

Mums birthday lunch

My wife & I took my mum for Sunday Lunch. If you want a dessert only have a small main. The portions are massive & delicious.

Very nice. Super sandwich and a great pint.

Visited the pub today for the first time. Beer was very good. Sandwiches and skinny fries were excellent. Very friendly pub, great service and a comfy seat. Who could ask for more. We will be back.

Fabulous food

Stopped at this lovely pub for Sunday lunch. Had a small pork roast and it was fantastic, full range of fresh vegetables, melt in your mouth pork, couldn't fault it! Service was brilliant from the staff and met the landlord Gary who is a great host and character! Location is beautiful and the pub has in immense garden with an animal paddock with goats, bunnies and chickens! Well worth visiting for the food and hospitality

Great pub food

Had lovely Sunday roast today, chose the beef which was cooked beautifully, good size portions and great friendly bar staff , we have also eaten here on a weekday when they a great specials board , the new chef is dong a great job.
